In the Combustion world, optimization of the Furnace and Controls pays huge dividends in greatly reduced cost of operation and improvements in productivity. We are particularly impressed with our results realized in optimization of large, complex Reheating Furnaces for the Steel Industry. This work entails "detailing" of the Furnace and Controls so that it can operate with maximum efficiency. We have yet to encounter a Steel Furnace that has not responded beautifully to our knowledge in this area - leaving everyone involved in paying the bills for and operating the equipment with BIG smiles on their faces. In certain situations, we can make arrangements to provide Optimization Services to End Users in consideration for a portion of the Energy Savings generated. This gives an End User an opportunity to realize the many significant benefits that we can provide at no net cost. We should point out that the Energy Savings are only a part of what can be delivered - invariably improving Energy Efficiency (if done properly) results in large improvements in product quality and production rate, as well as reductions in Emissions.
